Lisainfo

514ce

Mahogany yields its inspiring tone readily, with a strong, breathy midrange and a fundamental focus. A cedar top imparts extra warmth to complement that voice and slightly lowers the overall volume ceiling compared to a denser spruce or mahogany top. The cutaway 514ce is a perennial favorite with singer-songwriters and light-to-medium strummers for its blend of warmth and compression, and Taylor’s Expression System 2 pickup delivers superb amplified tone. The neo-vintage appointment package includes an ivoroid rosette, ivoroid binding, and a Century fretboard inlay.
