MOOER GE150 PRO AMP

Introduction to the Mooer GE150 Pro Amp

In 2019, MOOER released the GE150 multi-effects pedal, which received critical acclaim for its range of amp simulations and effects. However, the company recognized that users needed more flexibility and control. This demand led to the development of the new GE150 Pro series.

Enhanced Features of the GE150 Pro

Building on the original GE150 features, the Pro version offers 200 factory effect presets. This ensures guitarists can find an effects chain for any scenario. It includes 55 high-precision preamps and 26 high-quality cabinet simulations, allowing musicians to perfect their sound. Additionally, the Pro supports up to 10 third-party IR cabinet simulations, adding to its versatility.

Four Footswitches for Greater Control

Existing users will notice a significant upgrade: the GE150 Pro features four footswitches instead of two. This improvement enhances flexibility during performances. The upgraded effect chain control logic allows guitarists to utilize all four switches for seamless patch changes. The user interface (UI) also offers multi-function options, catering to the demands of modern guitarists.

Expression Pedal and Looping Functionality

The GE150 Pro includes an expression pedal, a staple in the GE series, which can be mapped to various effect parameters. Users can also switch between «Expression» and «Volume» control modes with a «toe tap.»

In addition, the Pro features an 80-second stereo looper and 40 drum machine patterns, along with 10 metronome modes. Users can control all rhythmic and looping functions through the four multifunctional footswitches. This integration makes it easy to incorporate loop improvisations and backing tracks in both live and practice settings.

USB-C Output and Tone Management

The pedal offers a USB-C output for real-time OTG recordings. Users can connect the device to a computer for tone and effect preset management, load third-party cab IRs, and update firmware easily.

Connectivity and Power Options

The GE150 Pro includes all necessary connections: a mono ¼” input, stereo ¼” outputs, an ⅛” auxiliary input, and a headphone output. MOOER has also released this model in two versions: the standard mains-powered option and the GE150 Pro Li. The latter boasts a remarkable 9-hour battery life and comes in a vibrant red finish, while the standard version features a neutral white design.
