Custom Speaker Design

This amp features a high-performance speaker system with two 10-inch woofers for bold low end and excellent projection. A built-in tweeter adds clarity for modern techniques like slapping. Need a more traditional sound? Just switch the tweeter off using the rear panel.

BOSS Effects Onboard

Like all Katana models, the 210 Bass includes powerful onboard effects. The comp/limiter and drive sections offer core tone shaping, while FX1 and FX2 provide access to a wide range of effects. From chorus and flanger to synth and octave, there are over 60 options available through the BOSS Tone Studio editor. FX2 also includes delay and reverb for extra depth.

Deep Tone Shaping

The panel controls make it easy to refine your tone. Use the Blend section to mix in a dry signal and choose from three customizable pre-shaping settings. A four-band EQ gives precise control, with selectable frequency centers on the midrange bands for added flexibility.

Built for Live and Studio

The Katana-210 is fully stage-ready with six Tone Setting memories to store your favorite sounds. Easily switch between them on the panel or with optional footswitches, an expression pedal, or the GA-FC Foot Controller. A balanced XLR output offers pre, post, and direct signal options, while a speaker output lets you connect an external cab.

Thanks to a variable Power Control, you can get cranked-amp tone at any volume. The headphone/recording jack offers direct output with cab emulation and Air Feel options. Use the USB connection to record directly into your DAW with studio-quality tone.

Edit Wirelessly with Tone Studio

The BOSS Tone Studio editor unlocks full control over your amp’s settings and effects. Tweak EQs, organize Live Sets, and adjust system settings like USB behavior and Air Feel. Add the optional Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor and control everything wirelessly from your mobile device—perfect for on-the-go adjustments.
