The latest incarnation of the Pearl Export, here in 20″ Fusion sizes / Arctic Sparkle finish includes a cymbal pack with 14″ hi-hats, a 16″ crash and 20″ ride. It also features the new 830 series hardware, the P-930 Demonator pedal and Pearl’s S.S.T Shell Technology, a procedure that delivers the best possible tone and strength from the shells.
This Fusion sized kit includes a 20″ bass drum, 10″ and 12″ toms, a 14″ floor tom and matching 14″ snare that has a REMO batter head.
With its premium Poplar and Asian Mahogany shells the Pearl Export kit certainly doesn’t skimp on build materials, delivering a kit that produces a great range of rich, full bodied tones. Furthermore, new lugs have been especially designed for the Export series – they have minimal shell interaction and a small footprint that allows for maximum sustain and resonance, taking the ‘sound first’ philosophy that Pearl are always keen to emphasize.
The rack toms come equipped with Pearl’s new Opti-Loc Mounting System – a triangular design with tension rod attachment points and another through one of the drum’s two air vents for maximum sustain and resonance whilst still being ultra stable.
The kit comes with the Pearl 830 series hardware (cymbal stands, hi-hat stand, snare stand) and the P-930 Demonator pedal – a single-chain drive pedal, equipped with a Demon Style Powershifter longboard, interchangeable cam and infinitely adjustable beater angle.
