The new Yamaha Venova is a casual wind instrument that is simple to learn to play and durable enough to take anywhere. Just blow into it and have fun making this wind instrument sing! More powerful than it looks, the Yamaha Venova can also handle delicate melodies. The more you play, the more you’ll discover its wide expressive range.

The Venova uses a mouthpiece that is similar to a soprano saxophone mouthpiece (and is included with the instrument). A custom made synthetic reed is also included with your new Yamaha Venova, but you can also further experiment with your sound with traditional soprano sax reeds (cane or synthetic). The ligature is also a standard soprano sax ligature, but like the reeds, you can experiment with ligature to further improve your tone and performance.
