The Tascam TM-90 Boundary Mic is the ideal portable microphone for capturing audio in meeting rooms, podcasts, and studio work. The Tascam TM-90 is a back-electret condenser microphone that is designed for tabletop use, and provides you with a low profile option that doesn’t take up too much space. The TM-90 Tascam Boundary Mic captures the sound with its hemispherical pickup pattern, and gathers recordings of multiple attendees without needing multiple microphones. Designed for portability and versatility, the small boundary mic can be attached to walls, floors, drum kits, pianos, guitars, and more. With the addition of the hard carry case and cable, the TM-90 mic is easily portable, and also protected when on the move.

Versatile Microphone

The Tascam TM-90 is a compact microphone that can be used in a variety of locations and situations. Whilst the microphone features a hemispherical pickup pattern on the horizontal plane, it is also a unidirectional condenser mic on the vertical plane, allowing for a broad coverage. The microphone is ideal for capturing audio from multiple people at once. Additionally, the TM-90 can handle louder sources making it ideal as a room mic when recording instruments. The TM-90 requires phantom power, which can be supplied from a mixer, mic preamp, audio interface, and the on board battery.

Low Profile Design

The low profile design of the TM-90 means that it can be placed out of view to not distract people. Featuring a height of 24mm, the Tascam TM-90 can be easily fitted on tabletops, walls, and floors, without taking up too much space.

Bass Tilt Switch

The bass tilt switch can be used to boost or cut low frequencies. This allows you to clean up audio and remove any unwanted low end rumble. The switch can also be used to slightly boost the low end, allowing you to add some warmth and fullness to a sound when recording an instrument.
