The Fender Super Champ X2 Head combines classic tube amplification with modern digital versatility. It delivers 15 watts of tube power, which makes it suitable for studio work, rehearsals, and small-stage performances. At the same time, its compact head format allows players to pair it with different external speaker cabinets for flexible setups.

Inside the amp, a 12AX7 preamp tube and two 6V6 power tubes produce warm, dynamic tube tone. However, the Fender Super Champ X2 also integrates digital amp voicing and built-in effects. As a result, it blends traditional Fender character with modern tonal flexibility.

Amp Voicing

One of the defining features is the Voice control. This knob allows players to select from 16 different amp voicings. These include classic Fender styles such as Tweed and Blackface, as well as British and modern high-gain tones. Consequently, the amp covers a wide range of genres from blues and country to rock and metal.

Built-in Effects

The Super Champ X2 includes a variety of onboard digital effects. Options such as delay, chorus, tremolo, and reverb add depth and texture to your sound. In addition, the Tap Tempo function allows precise timing adjustments for delay and modulation effects.

USB Connectivity

Another key feature is the integrated USB output. This allows direct connection to a computer for recording or editing tones through Fender FUSE™ software. Therefore, players can customize amp voicings, edit effect parameters, and access additional presets online.

Flexible Connectivity

The amp includes a line output for sending a signal to recording systems or PA setups. Additionally, it supports external speaker cabinets, making it easy to build a compact but powerful rig. Because it weighs only around 18.5 lbs (8.4 kg), the head is also highly portable.
