Ibanez designed the Artwood series to honor their storied history of crafting acoustic guitars while incorporating features modern players demand. The AW54CEOPN’s open-pore natural finish showcases mahogany’s beautiful woodgrain and is complemented by a tortoise pickguard, chrome die-cast tuners, and a black and white rosette.

All-Okoume Body Resonates With Rich Tone

The AW54CEOPN’s solid okoume top, back and sides provide a lush, balanced tone with strong projection. Okoume is a preferred tonewood for its warmth, sustain and midrange focus. An X-bracing pattern helps the okoume top move freely, enhancing resonance and producing full, articulate sound across the tonal spectrum. A cutaway gives players access to higher frets, expanding the AW54CEOPN’s musical range.

Ibanez equipped the AW54CEOPN with a Ibanez T-bar pickup and Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp with volume and 2-band EQ controls, letting you tweak your amplified tone with ease. An onboard tuner ensures you’re always in tune, whether performing live or in the studio. The preamp’s phase switch reduces unwanted feedback at high volumes, a useful feature for gigging guitarists.
