With a set of 490R and 498T humbuckers, you can easily achieve the warm, vintage tones you would expect from a Les Paul. The 490R neck pickup takes Gibson’s classic PAF design and updates it. Its Alnico II magnets produce a rich, vintage sound that is perfect for rounded lead lines and classic rhythm playing. The 498T pickup on the other hand is a high-output version of the 490R, spaced to fit the bridge position. With powerful Alnico V magnets, you get an aggressive, growling sound that’s perfect for heavy rock riffs and soaring solos.

Total tonal control

With independent volume and tone controls for each pickup, and a rugged 3-way toggle switch, you have full control over your guitar sound. Set one pickup hotter than the other and switch between them for distinctive rhythm and lead sounds, or blend the two pickups together in the middle position for a truly unique voice.

And if you require even more variation in your tone, each of the volume controls are push pull knobs that coil-tap the selected pickup.
