Upgraded Dreadnought Acoustic
This Fender FA-125 is a classic dreadnought acoustic guitar, perfect for beginners or as an affordable second instrument. It is very similar to the older CS-60 but features improved specifications including improved bracing and easy to play neck and fingerboard.
Mahogany & Spruce Body
The Fender FA-125 features a mahogany body and a spruce top. This is a classic combination because it offers a very balanced tone that’s versatile enough for multiple styles.Maple is a great all-rounder for guitar design. It’s sweet, smooth and has enough warmth to hold its own whilst still sounding bright. Its volume and projection are also impressive, especially when used on a Dreadnought body such as this. As a material for back and sides, mahogany’s density adds punch and projection with warmth and definition.
Nato Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard
The Fender FA-125’s 12” nato neck is smooth and comfortable, allowing a wide range of techniques to be used easily from chords to solo work and bends. A smooth, gloss finish aids quick fret changes whilst the rosewood fingerboard gives you all the sustain you’ll need. The Fender® ‘Easy-to-Play’ neck shape features rolled fretboard edges for a more comfortable playing experience, especially for newer players. Simple white dot inlays help you find your place easily, even on dark stages.
Finishing Touches
The FA-125 is finished with a durable, gloss finish, a black pickguard and chrome hardware. The fitted Fender Dura-Tone acoustic guitar strings are made with a specially applied micro-treatment that resists tone-killing grime and corrosion so it’ll be a while before you need to think about changing them, even with regular playing.
