It’s popular for a reason. Designed for children — approved by teachers. Made from quality ABS resin, the Yamaha YRS32B descant recorder offers a beautiful tone, as well as outstanding durability.

The YRS32B is known for its ability to produce a clear and distinct tone. Similar to more professional models, the YRS32B features a baroque fingering system. This design was perfected hundreds of years ago and holds very accurate tuning.

To further aid your progression, the YRS32B features an arched windway. Ideal if you want to take control of your recorder, the arched windway offers more resistance which to play in a more virtuosic style. Included with the YRS32B is a carry bag, fingering chart, and a fingering chart so you can get started straight away.

Start With Confidence

The perfect introduction to music. Made from ABS resin, the YRS31 recorder offers a durable build quality while only needing little maintenance. With safety and reliability at the heart of all Yamaha products, the YRS31 recorder uses ultrasonic adhesion technology instead of chemical adhesive bonding. Offering a suitable amount of air resistance for easy control, the YRS31 features excellent intonation that is often associated with much more expensive models.
