Effortless DAW integration

Enjoy seamless control over your favourite DAWs including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Reaper, and Reason without any setup required. The Launchkey 25 MK4 is designed to make music production straightforward and intuitive, so you can focus on your creativity instead of technical details. Its deep integration with these DAWs means that you can trigger clips, navigate your timeline, and adjust your mixer settings directly from the controller, streamlining your workflow and enhancing your productivity.

Eight encoders and performance pads

The eight continuous encoders provide real-time control over your DAW’s mixers, virtual instruments, and effects. Easily create custom mappings with Novation’s Components software, allowing you to tailor the controller to fit your workflow perfectly.

With 16 velocity-sensitive pads, you can dynamically play drums, instruments, and launch clips. The pads respond to your touch with polyphonic aftertouch, adding an extra layer of expressiveness to your performances and productions.

Complete with Ableton Live and high-end virtual instruments

The Launchkey 25 MK4 comes complete with Ableton Live Lite — perfect for musicians, producers, and performers seeking versatile music creation tools. This latest version includes essential workflows, instruments, and effects to create new sounds, record ideas, and perform live. Novation has also partnered with GForce, offering a 4-in-1 bundle of iconic synths—ideal for crafting powerful basslines, airy melodies, lush chords, and intricate sequences. The bundle includes a mono synth, two poly synths, and a tape sampler emulation, giving you a wide array of sound design options.

Dynamic performance capabilities

With 16 velocity-sensitive pads, you can dynamically play drums, instruments, and launch clips. The pads respond to your touch with polyphonic aftertouch, adding an extra layer of expressiveness to your performances and productions. This means you can input subtle variations in pressure to affect the sound, creating more nuanced and emotive musical phrases. These pads are not just for beats—they can be used to trigger samples, control lighting, or even as additional keys, making them versatile tools for any live or studio setup.

Creative chord and scale tools

The built-in Arpeggiator and three Chord Modes (Fixed Chord, User Chord, and Chord Maps) make creating musical progressions a breeze. Scale Mode locks the notes to the right key, ensuring you stay in tune, while the Chord Detector shows the current chord on the OLED display for easy reference.

These tools simplify the process of composing and performing complex musical parts, allowing you to experiment with different chord voicings and progressions effortlessly. The visual feedback from the OLED display keeps you informed of your musical choices in real-time, making it easier to understand and utilize these powerful features.
