Vic Firth American Classic CMN Metal Hickory Drumsticks have an oval shaped tip, providing a warmer, softer tone with a lighter feel. This light feel is perfect for fast and articulate drumming – ideal for heavy rock and metal drummers. An added length and weight provides exceptional stick bounce-back responses with a more direct and powerful tone.

Injected moulded nylon tips

Vic Firth was the first manufacturer to offer nylon tips, allowing drummers to switch between a rich sounding wood stick and the satisfying feel and balance of nylon. By fusing the nylon with the wood, the tips are guaranteed not to chip, therefore adding great durability to the drumsticks. A perfect choice for any heavy hitting drummer.

The injection process makes it possible to create complex, precision shapes which match the wood tip counterparts exactly, providing the perfect teardrop shape of a standard wood drumstick.

These nylon tips have a more defined and consistent sound than a wooden tip drumstick. This is because the nylon tip does not chip or change shape, providing a smooth, equal surface all the way around. These tips provide a louder, higher pitched cymbal sound and offer more dynamic freedom when playing on a ride cymbal.

American Classic Hickory Drumsticks are a combination of traditional and Vic Firth style. They show off bold designs and are made from hickory, which is a dense wood with little flex for a more pronounced sound. Hickory is also great at dealing with shock, making it extremely durable.
