Maintain stick tone — the soft rubber surface and modern composite base maintain the natural tone of your sticks so you can enjoy a rich drumstick wood tone while practicing instead of rubbery or click-y sounds as you make contact with the pad
Mount to a stand — this pad has an 8 mm threaded connection underneath so you can mount to any 8 mm threaded post stand (like a cymbal stand) — the underside also has 2 mm thick soft foam padding so you can play on any flat surface like a desk or table
Materials — the top surface is made with 6.5 mm thick medium-soft rubber, and the base is 18.5 mm thick solid MDF composite with 2 mm thick soft foam padding underneath — great if you are a drum set player, marching drummer or percussionist
