The PreSonus Eris Sub 8BT is designed to complement compact media and studio reference monitors without overpowering them. Consequently, it delivers smooth, accurate low-frequency response and helps extend the range of your full-range monitoring system.

Powerful, Compact Design

Featuring an 8-inch front-firing glass-composite woofer and 100W Class AB amplification, the Eris Sub 8BT reaches down to 30 Hz, providing tight, punchy bass that reveals the full sonic spectrum. It achieves up to 100 dB SPL (peak at 1 meter), ensuring clarity and authority even in small to medium-sized rooms.

Flexible Tuning and Controls

The subwoofer includes a continuously variable lowpass filter (50–130 Hz) for seamless crossover with your main monitors. Additionally, a switchable 80 Hz highpass filter removes frequencies below 80 Hz from your satellite outputs. An input gain control (-30 dB to +6 dB) and polarity invert switch allow precise tuning to any room or setup.

Bluetooth® Wireless and Connectivity

The Eris Sub 8BT is the first PreSonus studio subwoofer with Bluetooth® 5.0 wireless input, offering convenience for casual listening or flexible monitoring setups. Wired connections include balanced ¼-inch TRS and unbalanced RCA inputs and outputs, with pass-through outputs for connecting satellite speakers.

Reliable Protection and Energy Efficiency

Designed for professional use, the subwoofer includes protections against RF interference, over-temperature, over-current, turn-on/off transients, and subsonic signals. A Power Saver mode engages after 40 minutes of inactivity to reduce energy consumption.
