The Yamaha CPX600 is a medium jumbo acoustic-electric guitar, which means it has a slightly larger body than the APX500 thinline. This slightly larger body design means big sound. The CPX600 features a spruce top and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge that combine to put out solid, far-reaching tone. Yamaha uses locally sourced tonewoods for the neck and body in an effort to minimize waste and support sustainable harvesting of wood.

It has a piezo pickup system, which helps to give it a truly realistic, natural acoustic voice when it’s pumping through a PA system.
