Where Cutting-Edge Innovation Meets Stage-Ready Sound

With fresh visual details and new comfort-enhancing features, the Taylor T5 Standard Red Edgeburst offers unmatched musical versatility with a fast electric feel.

Explore a Dynamic Range of Electric and Acoustic Sound

With its unique three-pickup configuration, the Taylor T5 Standard Red Edgeburst is capable of generating lush acoustic tones, high-octane electric sounds, and virtually unlimited ways to mix the two.

Five Pickup Positions with Easy Tone-Shaping

Two humbuckers (one concealed, one visible) and an acoustic body sensor controlled by a five-way switch and active treble and bass knobs placed for easy access while playing allow you to blend acoustic and electric sounds on the fly, opening up a vast array of musical flavors.

Lightweight Construction for Warm, Resonant Sound

Crafted with an Urban Ash body and solid-wood top, the super-lightweight T5 yields warm, resonant sound whether you’re strumming chords, flatpicking lead lines, or playing fingerstyle.

Comfort-Focused Enhancements for a Fast, Seamless Feel

Chamfered body edges, a new integral armrest on the upper body edge, and a slender, fast-playing neck with jumbo frets create an accommodating feel that lets you play your best in any style.
