Housed in a stylish white stompbox, the BOSS Waza Craft Series BP-1W Booster/Preamp serves up the legendary sound of the BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble and the Roland RE-1 Space Echo – two vintage units that aren’t just renowned for their inspiring sound, but their analogue preamp, which can be harnessed to inject extra body and character into your sound. In addition to the sonic seasoning offered by two sought-after effects, the BP-1W also puts a natural clean boost at your disposal that will come in handy whenever your sound can do with a little nudge.

The Waza Craft BP-1W: Ample Options

Just like the rest of the Waza Craft Series, the BOSS BP-1W is carefully put together in Japan with nothing but first-class components to guarantee superb performance. This versatile stompbox can be set to one of three modes, where CE-1 Mode gets you a bright, bell-like sound, RE Mode thickens up the sound before injecting some extra warmth, and NAT mode boosts the sound without colouring it. Round the back, BOSS have fitted a Standard/Vintage Buffer mini-switch so you can instantly change the sonic flavour as needed.
