PROMARK MATTHEW STRAUSS GENERAL SIGNATURE KONTSERT SOOLO STICKS MS1

These sticks from Promark were developed in collaboration with Matthew Strauss, a percussionist from the Houston symphony. They have a long taper, designed for a full bounce and a generally rear-heavy weight.

These sticks are extra-responsive, and they are made of persimmon, which is an evenly dense and durable wood. The longer bead suits itself well to more “legato” playing, and due to the increased contact surface area, they will get a larger response out of the drum.
