Different strengths to suit your needs

These reeds are available in a variety of reed strengths, from 1.5 (soft) to 4 (hard). With this range of options you are able to pick the best one to suit your style. Softer reeds are often easier to play through at lower volumes – they speak more easily and produce a bright sound. Harder reeds produce a darker and louder sound, however, they are harder to blow through and often need a well-developed embouchure in order to get the most out of them.
