YAMAHA YFL-372GL FLÖÖT + GOLD LIP PLATE

The transverse flutes now appear in the new design with pointed-lid mechanism, as is also used in the professional models. The optimised pads ensure better stability and contribute to the improved life of the flutes. The elegant new shape of the key covers gives the flutes a pleasantly comfortable and natural playing feeling.

The YFL-372GL is, like its predecessor model, equipped with E-mechanism and offset G. Both the foot and the center piece of the flute are made of nickel silver. The headpiece is also made of sterling silver and provides a brilliant and radiant sound. In contrast to the YFL-312GL, the YFL-372GL is equipped with ring keys, which provide greater sound and even quarter-tones.
The brilliant sound and the relatively easy response makes the YFL-372GL the perfect flute for advanced musicians looking for a full and radiant sound.
The special feature of the YFL-372GL lies in the gilded mouth plate. This provides a softer response compared to full silver or nickel silver.

The “E-Mechanics”
The E-mechanism is an additional lever that makes the high E (e3) more accurate and easier to play. It thus facilitates the intonation and gives additional playing safety. The E-Mechanik has proved itself for many years, especially in the amateur field and among the semi-professionals.

The “Offset G”:
The position of the G-valve, which is designated as “Offset G”, has become the standard of every good flute. Due to this key position, the instrument adapts to the ergonomics of the hand and not vice versa. So make sure your flute has an “offset G” – your fingers will thank you!
