The Yamaha Professional 7018 1.5 Octave Chimes offer a design that features playability and rich musical tones. With advances in acoustical analytics Yamaha has been able to create a chime tube that delivers unprecedented tones with rich sustain like no other Yamaha chime. An innovative system of easily hanging the chime tubes utilizing a wire and ball design allows the tubes to achieve their full resonance.

A visual design has be used that gives a nod to the elegance of Yamaha Concert Grand Pianos. Height adjustable casters work in conjunction with the dampener allowing the system to bring out maximum sustain with fluid and easy adjustments. A full complement of damper holes is provided in the sharp/flat chime tube row, allowing any arrangement of chime tubes to be used. All available spaces can be used for a total of 21 tubes.
