The Evolution Wireless Digital System

The Sennheiser EW-D SK BASE SET R4-9 (552-607.8 MHz) consists of a stationary EW-D EM Rack Receiver and an EW-DSK digital bodypack transmitter for use with a wide range of Evolution Wireless Digital microphones. Sennheiser’s system uses the equidistant frequency grid, which has only been used until now in Sennheiser’s high-end Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 systems. This makes complex frequency coordination a thing of the past. This means that even laymen in radio technology can operate and set up the new system really quickly and easily. All settings are made via the display and the function keys.

Sound engineer in pocket format

Thanks to Bluetooth Low Energy, you have full control over the entire system – with the Sennheiser Smart Assist App. Take advantage of remote control and mobile access to every single system setting from the comfort of your Android or iOS device.

If you don’t want to spend a long time searching for free frequencies, you can activate the automatic setup and all parameters are automatically adjusted in the system. This works simultaneously with multiple radio links. So you save time and effort and can concentrate on your performance.

Battery or rechargeable battery – that is the question!

The new Sennheiser EW-D system can be operated with conventional AA batteries with a runtime of up to 6 hours. Optionally, there is the Sennheiser BA 70 rechargeable battery, which is much more ecological than batteries that are thrown away after a single use. In addition, the battery has a long runtime of up to 12 hours.

The Sennheiser EW-D SK BASE SET R4-9 operates in the frequency range 552-607.8 MHz and can therefore be used in the USA, Canada, EU, UK, Australia, Brazil, Russia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia.

Scope of delivery

All models of the Evolution Wireless Digital System are supplied with a rack kit which allows easy installation in a 19″ rack. Furthermore, a power supply unit with country-specific adapters is included in the scope of delivery.
