Like its early-’70s ancestor, this model combines classic Telecaster bite with the thicker voice of a humbucker. Specifically, it pairs a traditional single-coil bridge pickup with a powerful Fender Wide Range humbucking neck pickup. As a result, players get bright attack in the bridge position and warm, rounded tones at the neck.
The alder body delivers balanced resonance and focused mids. Meanwhile, the maple neck features a comfortable “C” profile for smooth playability. In addition, the three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt™ adjustment allows precise setup control. The 7.25″radius fingerboard and 21 vintage-style frets further reinforce the authentic vintage feel.
Tonally, this configuration is highly versatile. The bridge pickup cuts through a mix with clarity and snap. By contrast, the neck humbucker provides higher output and thicker harmonic content. Because each pickup has dedicated volume and tone controls, fine adjustments are quick and intuitive. A three-way toggle on the upper shoulder ensures practical switching during performance.
