The rounded belly and smaller top give an amazing sonic range that has crisp slap tones with increased resonance and bass. The uniquely round shell is made of stave-constructed pine wood for the depth and resonance of a traditional drum. The poplar soundboard is fatter in the middle and tapered up near the top to provide better separation between the bass and slap tones.
