Although compact in size, the B1 PE produces a surprisingly full sound. Inspired by the renowned Yamaha U Series, it features soundboards and ribs crafted from premium spruce tonewood. Consequently, the piano delivers depth and projection that exceed typical entry-level expectations.

Yamaha pioneered the V-Pro Vacuum Shield Mold casting technology to create stronger and lighter frames. Each b Series piano features a full-perimeter frame built to exacting standards at the Iwata Forge in Japan. As a result, the structure is both durable and acoustically efficient.
