The CG 122 is Yamaha ‘s semi-massive instrument from the affordable CG classical guitar series , which includes high-quality materials and a very expressive sound. Due to its lightweight construction , consisting of a solid cedar top and a Nato body , the Yamaha CG 122 MC NT develops a very powerful dynamic even at the slightest touch and a very strong tone, which is particularly pronounced in the bass and mid-range frequencies. The flat Nato neck with a noble rosewood fretboard ensures smooth playability in all frets and, thanks to the meticulous workmanship of the 52 mm wide urea nut and matching saddle , clean intonation over the entire scale length of 650 mm . Chrome-plated RM-1157N-50XA tuners allow easy tuning of the 6 nylon strings , which are perfectly matched to the neck with their medium thickness. The CG 122 is optically rounded off with a matte finish , which allows a deep insight into the fine grain of the wood.
