Ibanez designed the Artwood series to honor their storied history of crafting acoustic guitars while incorporating features modern players demand. The AW54CEOPN’s open-pore natural finish showcases mahogany’s beautiful woodgrain and is complemented by a tortoise pickguard, chrome die-cast tuners, and a black and white rosette.

All-Okoume Body Resonates With Rich Tone

The AW54CEOPN’s solid okoume top, back and sides provide a lush, balanced tone with strong projection. Okoume is a preferred tonewood for its warmth, sustain and midrange focus. An X-bracing pattern helps the okoume top move freely, enhancing resonance and producing full, articulate sound across the tonal spectrum. A cutaway gives players access to higher frets, expanding the AW54CEOPN’s musical range.

Ibanez equipped the AW54CEOPN with a Ibanez T-bar pickup and Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp with volume and 2-band EQ controls, letting you tweak your amplified tone with ease. The preamp’s phase switch reduces unwanted feedback at high volumes, a useful feature for gigging guitarists.
