Unmistakably vintage. One of the pickups that paved the way for modern electric guitars, these VP5s adopt a P90 style construction. This fatter single coil gives you a tone that approaches a humbucker yet retains the delicious cut and twang of singles. Excellent for the distinct flow of classic rock ‘n’ roll or clucky blues solos, these potent pickups combine perfectly with the Revstar’s vintage aesthetic.

Just like the other aspects of this guitar, its fretboard is sophisticated in appearance and performance. Underneath the sumptuous fretboard is a three-piece mahogany neck that’s shaped for speed. Boasting a satin finish, you’ll be firing around the registers due to its frictionless feel. Set with carbon reinforcement, there’s nothing that’s going to stop you playing.

Inspired by the voluptuous curves of Yamaha’s mean racing motorbikes, the Revstar Standard’s body showcases the same precision engineering. Formed using Yamaha’s Acoustic Design process, the chambered body provides you enhanced tone response and a flourishing resonance. Appointed on the alluring body is a specially designed racer tailpiece, joined to a tune-O-matic bridge.
