The EPIPHONE Inspired By Gibson Custom Collection 1962 ES-335 Reissue (EC335R2SCNH1) offers a remarkable recreation of the vintage Gibson ES-335 models. This guitar, developed in partnership with Gibson Custom, combines classic aesthetics and performance at a more approachable price point.

Notably, it includes features that fans of the 1962 ES-335 have come to appreciate, such as a one-piece mahogany neck with a long tenon for added stability and sustain. Additionally, its SlimTaper™ profile makes it comfortable and fast-playing, complemented by a bound rosewood fretboard.

Furthermore, the electronics stand out with two USA Gibson Custombucker humbucking pickups, which utilize Alnico 3 magnets. These are hand-wired to high-quality CTS® potentiometers and paired with Black Beauty paper-in-oil capacitors. A Switchcraft® pickup selector toggle switch and output jack ensure reliable performance.

In terms of aesthetics, the Vintage Gloss finish enhances the guitar’s vintage look without appearing overly aged. It harmonizes beautifully with the nickel hardware, including the Epiphone Deluxe “Double Ring” Keystone button tuners. Moreover, a hardshell case with Inspired by Gibson Custom graphics and a plush pink interior is included, providing both protection and style.

This semi-hollow body electric guitar features a solid center block and is part of the Electric Spanish series. Crafted in China, it consists of a 3-ply laminated Maple/Poplar/Maple body and a solid maple center block. The construction features a solid mahogany long tenon set-neck with a 60’s Slim Taper profile and a solid rosewood fingerboard holding 22 medium-jumbo frets.
