Replacement switch tips used on most current Gretsch® guitars.

Plated brass with knurling. Fits both pickup and tone switches on most old and many new USA made Gretsch guitars. Fits the genuine Gretsch switchcraft switch with 8-32 USA threads. Will NOT fit switches with metric threads found on many import guitars for example the Japanese made Gretsch guitars and the Electromatics which have been made in Korea and China. These switch tips will ONLY fit the Genuine Vintage and new Gretsch guitars made in USA only. Make sure the original 8-32 size Switchcraft switch is still present in your guitar and not changed over the years otherwise you will have fitting problems if a metric switch was placed. Genuine Switchcraft switches have the name “Switchcraft” stamped inside the metal side from the bottom of the switch. Meaning size 8-32 thread: The first number is the diameter. The bigger the number the bigger the screw. The second number is the number of threads per inch.
