The specialist’s opinion
The Yamaha TransAcoustic GC1 TA3 PE Gloss Black is intended for those who wish to afford the pleasures of the grand piano at a reasonable price.
Very good quality piano with impeccable finishes, the best of Japan at the most affordable price.
The mechanics are perfectly balanced. This balancing helps ensure a lifetime of superior feel and control over the entire keyboard. The GC series effectively transmits the most delicate nuances.
Yamaha devotes countless time to creating the sound that musicians want. The sound is beautiful, varied and very harmonious.
Yamaha makes its own frames, relying on a casting method known as the “V-Pro System”, the first such technique in the world developed over many years to create some of the best piano frames.
This piano also benefits from the Soft-closeTM cylinder retarder system: A damper mechanism prevents the keyboard cylinder from falling suddenly and therefore eliminates any risk of injury or material damage.
Yamaha designers, engineers and craftsmen were challenged to bring out the expressive tone, subtle colors and dynamics of a conservatory grand piano from a more compact instrument.

All the advantages of the TransAcoustic system:
Thanks to the possibility of amplifying the silent system directly on your piano’s soundboard, you can adjust the volume without having to wear headphones.
– Bluetooth allows you to input the sound from audio data saved on a Bluetooth device such as a smartphone to this instrument and output it through the piano’s built-in speaker.
– The USB TO HOST input allows you to connect a computer or other digital devices and record yourself in high quality without adding other interfaces, – AUX OUT output allows you to output the signal to an external amplification (Hi-chain fi, recorder, amplified speakers, etc.).
– The AUX IN input receives external sound sources.
– The MIDI OUTPUT transmits the information of the game to an external device such as a synth.
– The MIDI IN input receives the performance information like a sequencer to use the TransAcoustic tone generator.
Performances can be recorded in two different ways:
– Either you can record directly into the piano’s memory.
Using memory is more interesting when you want to listen to yourself directly.
This allows you to work on a piece by listening to it and then repeating specific passages.
– Or on a USB medium, in which case the stored data will be in WAV format readable by all digital devices.
Once the songs have been recorded in WAV format, they can be written directly to CD or portable players.
